with the art of sweet-making evolving alongside the country's rich history. Historical texts mention

the use of ingredients like jaggery, honey, and fruits to create early versions of sweets. Over time,

the influence of Persian, Mughal, and European cultures further enriched the repertoire of these sweets, giving rise to a vast array of delicacies.
